urban-reign-recomp is a PC port of Urban Reign made by static recompilation: the PS2 code is translated into C++ with PS2Recomp and compiled as a Windows program, with PCSX2's renderer drawing the graphics. The project is Playable, at release v1.3.0, with 60 FPS, widescreen and up to 8 players.
How to play
- Make an image of your own USA Urban Reign disc (SLUS-21209) as an .iso file. The game is not included.
- Get the latest release of urban-reign-recomp from the project's GitHub page and extract it to a folder you control.
- Open Urban Reign.exe, choose your disc image in the Game tab and press Play.

Urban Reign follows the exploits of "brawler-for-hire" Brad Hawk, who is hired to find a kidnapped gang member by the swordswoman Shun Ying Lee. Brad fights his way through the street gangs of Green Harbor, a fortified city in the U.S. As he does so to get some answers, the true machinations of the protagonists reveal themselves and things become more complicated.

The port runs at 60 FPS in progressive scan, offers real widescreen or the original 4:3, internal resolution from 1x to 8x, HD texture packs in PCSX2 format and multitap for up to 8 players.
