What Recompedia is

Recompedia is an informational index of console-game recompilation and decompilation projects. It lists projects maintained by third parties, with status, requirements and links to those projects' own repositories. Recompedia is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any game publisher, console manufacturer or project listed here.

Using the site means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.

No game files

Recompedia does not host, provide or link to ROMs, ISOs, BIOS files or any game assets. Every project listed requires a copy of the game owned by the user. Recompedia does not condone piracy and is not involved in obtaining game copies in any way.

Accuracy and sources

Entries are compiled from each project's own repository and from public game databases, and are updated automatically. Status, release versions and progress figures can change at any time and may be out of date. Information is provided 'as is', without warranty of any kind. Verify anything that matters to you against the linked project repository before acting on it.

Trademarks

Game titles, console names and company names are trademarks of their respective owners. They are used here only to identify the games and platforms being written about.

External links and third-party content

Links lead to third-party repositories and sites, and pages may load images and video from third-party servers such as IGDB and YouTube. Recompedia is not responsible for the content, availability or practices of any third-party site or service.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Recompedia and its operators are not liable for any damages arising from the use of the site or of any project it lists, including any loss of data, hardware issues or legal consequences of how you use the information provided.

Changes

These terms may change as the site evolves. The current version is always the one published on this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
