23 New Recomp Games: N64, PS2, Xbox 360
Published Oct 20, 2026 · 2 min

Twenty-three games, twenty projects
Recompedia added 23 games this week from 20 public repositories. They span Nintendo 64, PlayStation 2, GameCube and Xbox 360. Some repositories cover multiple games: sp00nznet/Rampage tracks World Tour and Rampage 2, while navjack/cruisn-recomp covers three Cruis'n racers. The game count and repository count are different.
Every listing was checked against its project's README and release information. A recomp must have a release or a documented milestone such as boot, menu or gameplay. Tool-only projects and repositories without evidence that the game runs stay out of the index.
Two Xbox 360 expansions are complete
Dead Rising 2: Case Zero and Case West are the clearest completion reports in this batch. Their projects publish final releases and describe the single-player stories as playable from start to finish. Case Zero also reports solo and online co-op. The latest data sync found .recomp.json metadata for both, marking them complete and adding macOS to their targets.
These releases still need files from a game copy you own. The recomp projects provide their own code and tools, not the retail game.

N64 progress ranges from playable to early testing
The N64 contributes 15 of the new games. NBA Hangtime is reported playable from title through final results, Cruis'n USA is described as completable, and Rampage: World Tour is marked playable at 60 fps. Other projects have narrower milestones: Diddy Kong Racing has reached its Adventure overworld, Neon Genesis Evangelion its first mission, and Knife Edge: Nose Gunner the first-stage boss.
Not every boot is a completed game. Rampage 2 still shows a black screen. Dark Rift is playable with glitches, and Turok 2 remains an early test with crashes and visual, audio and input issues. Their pages keep those limits visible.

PS2 and GameCube projects are earlier-stage
The PS2 additions include Dynasty Warriors 2, which has booted to a running menu, and Metropolismania, which reaches a city but is not ready for a full playthrough. Its synced project metadata identifies the USA disc as SLUS-20377. WWE Crush Hour has a v0.0.1-alpha with stable menus and matches, including split-screen verification.
On GameCube, Chibi-Robo! v0.1.0 reaches the title, new game and first module load, with US and PAL versions validated. Mega Man X: Command Mission has reached its opening scenes with sound. Both remain In Progress. Check each project's page for its target version, supported platform and current caveats.

Recompedia does not host or link to ROMs, BIOS files or game assets. Every project listed requires a copy of the original game owned by the player.
