Tomb Raider Android Port
OpenLara is an open-source reimplementation of the classic Tomb Raider engine with an Android release package. It is a source port, not a static recompilation. The Android build dates to December 24, 2022; newer repository activity does not establish compatibility with current Android versions or devices.
How to build it
- Prepare original Tomb Raider game data from a copy you own. Do not substitute data from Tomb Raider I–III Remastered.
- Download OpenLara_android.zip from XProger/OpenLara's latest release and follow its included setup instructions for the APK and data layout.
- Check the engine's supported data formats before copying files. Treat modern Android compatibility as unverified; the published Android build is from 2022.
Game version you need
- Original Tomb Raider game data from a copy you own; use the engine's supported original formats, not Tomb Raider I–III Remastered data.
Hardware & system
- Android package from the official latest release
- Current Android versions and devices have not been independently tested

About this project
The README identifies OpenLara as a classic Tomb Raider open-source engine and links a standalone release, a playable WebGL demonstration and gameplay screenshots. These are the project's own evidence of running gameplay; this page focuses on Tomb Raider 1.
The GitHub release is tagged latest and was first published in 2019. Its notes separately list Android as updated on December 24, 2022, matching the Android asset timestamp. The default-branch commit date is shown separately and must not be read as an APK release date.
OpenLara reimplements an engine to read original game data. It does not translate an original console executable through a static recompiler, and a release archive does not supply ownership of the retail game. No independent current-Android playthrough was performed for this listing.
